Firefight - This is a real-time WWII simulation with more AI and attention to detail than any other game in its genre to date. Tanks are modeled with a physics engine and have gears, tachometers and speedometers, and control themselves with brake levers to give them realistic looking tracked vehicle movements. Every projectile, grenade or fragment is modeled in 3D and realistically bounces off sloping surfaces. You can see the rank, name, weapon, remaining ammo, heart rate and fatigue level of each infantryman. Machine gunmen call for ammunition when they are running low, and other squad members rush in with spare ammunition when they have some with them. Wounded men call for paramedics to sprint to provide first aid. Off-board artillery may be requested, but must fire several long-range shots before the full 8-gun battery can open fire at the same time.
